This is your opportunity to gain access to our award-winning whiskies at cask strength, before they are released under the Evan’s Family Reserve banner. The Evans Family range is made up of limited releases, showcasing the broad range of barrels that we have in our warehouse. This includes our award winning Caribbean Rum Finish and our current Oloroso Cask Finish. The next release in this range will be a Tequila Cask Finish and this will be the first of the cask strength releases from the Shelter Point Whisky Club.

Membership of the Shelter Point Whisky Club also gives you access to our Ultima Series. This is something that we are very excited about.

Every now and then we come across barrels that are special and unique. Ones that stand out and stand alone. Too good to pass up, they just have to savoured on their own. Found by our head distiller James Marinus in the day-to-day of selecting barrels for our other whiskies, these casks are laid aside and kept for inclusion in this unique range.

The Ultima series releases will be selected from these barrels, chosen for release either by James or by select people within the whisky industry. These will be bottled at cask strength in 750ml bottles and will only be available to members of the club, bottled straight from the cask and autographed by James with co-endorsement by a whisky writer or celebrity.

When you join the club you will receive three releases every year in 375ml bottles, two Shelter Point whisky glencairns and the official SPDWC badge that will allow you VIP access at whisky events and tours of the distillery….and of course the right to buy our club member exclusive ‘Unicorn’ bottlings.

During the year you will receive emails notifying you of your three bottle shipments and notice to get in on the very limited number of unicorn bottlings that we are calling our Ultima series.
